How to Reach Bergamo

Bergamo is located on an exit of the motorway from Milan to Venice (A4/E64). So, if you come by car from Milan or Venice it is very simple and convenient.

BY PLANE

  • Bergamo Orio al Serio (also named Milan Orio al Serio)

    The Local Bus 1 operates from Orio al Serio airport to Bergamo Railway station (every 30 minutes - ticket € 2.00 - lasts 90 minutes).   • Milano Malpensa and Linate (Milan airports)

BY CAR

A4/E64 motorway Torino-Milano-Venezia-Trieste. Two exits: Bergamo or Dalmine.


BY LONG-DISTANCE BUS

The Società Autostradale operates a service to Bergamo airport from many italian towns.

BY LOCAL BUS

A city ticket (Zone 00) costs € 1.30 or more according to the zone (cf. here) and, once validated on the bus, lasts 75 minutes.
Also available for tourists a € 3.50 one-day ticket and Ticket Airport Bus passes.
The ticket must be bought at the authorized sales points and validated on the first bus boarded.
