My research interests are in algorithm design, computational
and parameterized complexity for problems in computational
biology, bioinformatics and network analysis.
Computational biology: phylogenetics
(reconciliation of gene tree and species tree, inference of a
species tree from gene trees), string algorithms, haplotyping,
consensus and correlation clustering.
Network analysis: variants of graph motif, computation
of disjoint paths in a graph.
I have also worked on the computational and parameterized
complexity for problems related to the anonymization of data.
