Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering received from the University of Bergamo in 2002. He took his PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2006 at the University of Padua discussing the thesis "Methodologies integration along the product development process : a new design paradigm”.
Researcher at University of Bergamo at the Industrial Engineering Department since 2005. His research topics concerns methods and tools supporting the early stages of product development process. In particular he is involved in research activities on Virtual Prototyping (e.g. Virtual Humans), product development Process Modeling and Knowledge Mapping, development of Custom-fit non-rigid products, Systematic Innovation methods and tools, Risk Management and Intellectual Property Management.
He has been involved in several National Research Projects as research fellow or local coordinator. He participates and is responsible for research activities with industry in several industrial sectors. He is author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
